This panorama was created using Terragen and data from the Mars Orbiting Laser Altimeter (MOLA).   It started as 6 separate renderings facing the cardinal directions plus one facing straight up and one facing straight down. The six images were assembled into a full 360-degree panorama using SkyPaint. (See other Terragen pieces in my Gallery.)
